Govt builds petrol cost by Rs1 per liter


ISLAMABAD – Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday endorsed an expansion in costs of petroleum items affecting from January 16 (tomorrow).

The costs of petrol and diesel have been expanded by Rs 1 for every liter, while the costs of Kerosene oil and light-speed diesel were not changed.

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has proposed to climb costs of petrol and rapid diesel by Rs 1.91 for every liter and Rs 2.03 for each liter.

The specialist has sent a rundown to Ministry of Petroleum, looking for a bring up in petroleum items. It has been solicited to climb the cost from lamp oil cost by Rs 16.71 for each liter, light-speed diesel by Rs 12.53/liter.
